Synopsis: Have you ever thought or said, "All men are dogs"? Ever wonder where all the good men have gone? Well, Copper Patterson felt that way after being abandoned by her father and cheated on by her husband. When she meets Doug, a freelance photographer, Copper is convinced he's just like every other man she's dealt with.
To his friends, Doug seems unstable. That's because Doug has been going through a metamorphosis. Refusing to settle, he's determined to pursue his dreams and his soul mate.
Though many miles separate Copper and Doug, their paths continue to cross. When they find themselves in the throes of danger, they are forced to address some deep rooted issues. About the Author:
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Darn studied theater at the University of Washington, DC. While in DC he became one of first members of Robert Hook’s DC Black Repertory Theater. After moving to Los Angeles in the early 70’s, he has appeared in numerous stage plays (touring the country in a couple) and had bit roles in a few TV shows and movies. He also appeared as a contestant on over a dozen TV quiz shows, including Love Connection. While working as a Technical Recruiter during the day, Darn ran several night clubs in L.A. with friends and hosted numerous house and mansion parties that are still talked about in the city. In fact one of the venues he helped start is still one of the hottest Friday night spots there.
Residing in Atlanta now, Darn is still involved in theater. He plans to write a stage play soon. He’s currently working on a series of short stories and possibly a follow-up to his bestselling novel, Scent Of An Angel. Please visit Darn on the Web at www.myspace.com/darnoldhamwrites or e-mail him at thatdarnoldham@msn.com.
